Basant Panchmi Celebration was organised by Sahsrasheersha Devi Mandal-Ladies Wing of Maharishi World Peace Movement. Many competitions were organised for Girls students and winners were awarded with shields, medals and certificates.

Sahasrasheersha Devi Mandal, female wing of Maharishi World Peace Movement celebrated Vasant Panchami at Maharishi Vidya Mandir, Ayodhya Nagar, Bhopal today with various activities.<br><br>Celebration started with the Guru Pujan followed by Saraswati Pooja and Group meditation. Smt.Suman Yadav, Secretary, Ayodya Nagar, Bhopal welcomed everyone present there.<br><br>On this occasion, Smt. Arya Nandkumar, National Secretary - Communication in her address briefed about Vasant Panchami and the importance of Saraswati Pooja. She further added that this day is auspicious for Sikhs due to the marriage of their Guru taken place on Vasant Panchami day. So there is no need to see any muhurth etc for doing any noble things. Smt.Suman Yadav, Principal, Maharishi Vidya Mandir, Ayodhya Nagar, Bhopal in her speech conveyed that Goddess Saraswati, the Goddess of knowledge and music is worshipped on the day of Vasant Panchami. We all should worship Saraswati Ji regularly so that we can get continuous knowledge. There were games namely

This is another initiative<br> of Sahasrasheersha Devi Mandal for social upliftment. Mrs.Manjusha Singh,<br> Secretary, Cerebral Palsy Association of India welcomed all the members of<br> Sahasrasheersha Devi Mandal. Smt.Manjusha Singh shared her experience about<br> working with special children and activities conducted for them. There are near<br> about 45 children from the age group of 13 to 25 years in Bhopal unit. Some<br> children are with multiple disabilities. Smt.Reeta Prakasham, State President, MP<br> and Dr.Geeta Narhari, Professor in Psychology were present and Dr.Geeta Narhari<br> agreed to conduct a counseling session for parents and children on weekly basis.<br> Smt.Arya Nandkumar, National Secretary-Communication gifted a book on<br> Transcendental Meditation, a souvenir of Maharishi World Peace Movement and<br> a book ?Maharishi Aadarsh Bharat Abhiyan. She discussed about teaching<br> Transcendental Meditation to mentally sound children and parents also. She<br> discussed about the major requirements they need to educate the special<br> children.
